The SHTA’s annual fundraiser was held at the Palm’s Grill Restaurant at Maho Beach Resort & Casino. The theme of the evening was Stars & Stripes to show support for the September 11 tragedy. The SHTA website, www.shta.com, is used to promote special vacation packages from SHTA member properties. The SHTA Board of Directors mandated a Steering Committee to evaluate the functioning of the Association in term of effectiveness and efficiency. The recommendations were adopted unanimously.
2000 September 2000 Jelle Hamstra is employed in the position of Project Manager.
July 2000 The SHTA and the ST. Maarten Timeshare Association join forces to reduce costs. Jennifer Ajubi was employed for the SMTA.
