There is probably some relief within especially the local tourism sector over the decision to drop the planned increase of the Turnover Tax from five to seven per cent on cigarettes and liquor. Of course, it regards luxury items that really are not good for one’s health, but actually very popular among visitors precisely because of the generally higher levies on these products back home.
