Philipsburg, March 24th, 2026. Orco Bank proudly supported the MAC-JAG Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser, an island-wide educational and family-centered initiative organized by the PHOENIX Foundation, which took place last weekend. The event successfully raised funds for the restoration and safety upgrade of the playground at the Methodist Agogic Centre (MAC) – JAG Campus.
The scavenger hunt brought together families, students, teachers, and community members who explored key cultural, historical, and geographic locations across St. Maarten, all while contributing to a meaningful cause. Funds raised through team participation will go directly toward improving the school’s playground facilities, creating a safer and more engaging environment for students.
As part of its commitment to community development, Orco Bank sponsored the event’s closing BBQ, helping to provide meals and refreshments for more than 100 participants and volunteers. This support ensured that 100% of the funds raised remained dedicated to the school’s improvement
efforts.
