Freegan Food Foundation
Freegan Food Foundation strives to end food waste and hunger on the island of St. Maarten. We act as a foodbank, where wholesalers, supermarkets, companies and people can donate their surplus which will then be collected and distributed amongst the most needy. Les Fruits de Mer
Les Fruits de Mer is a non-profit association based in St. Martin. Their core mission is to collect and share knowledge about local nature and heritage. They carry out this mission through books and other publications, their free museum, short films and oral histories, events, and other projects. Amuseum Naturalis is a free museum of the nature and heritage of St. Martin and the Caribbean, created by Les Fruits de Mer. It is located at the historic Old House in French Quarter on the hill above Coconut Grove.

Nature Foundation St. Maarten
The Nature Foundation St. Maarten is a non-profit organization dedicated to conserving St. Maarten’s environment. Established in January 1997 by the Island Government, it is recognized by the Executive Council of St. Maarten to assist in environmental management and preservation. As a member of the Dutch Caribbean Nature Alliance (DCNA), it emphasizes fundraising and strengthening protected areas. The Foundation’s mission is to preserve and enhance nature while boosting the economic and educational value of natural resources.

Established on October 4, 1993, through a merger of the St. Maarten National Park Foundation and the St. Maarten Museum Foundation, The St. Maarten National Heritage Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to championing the history, culture, and environment of St. Maarten and its vicinity.
We achieve this by:
- Showcasing St. Maarten’s heritage at our Museum
- Amassing books, videos, and publications for our library
- Partnering with similar organizations
- Facilitating school field trips to the Museum and historic sites

SMTA was created to promote the best interests of timeshare in St. Maarten, both the industry and the consumer side.
St. Maarten Sea Rescue Foundation
We are a voluntary organization that assist mariners and sea goers in need in and around the waters of St Maarten. Using two rescue vessels and a 100% voluntary crew we assist those out at sea that run into dangerous and life threatening situations. Our foundation was founded over 35 years ago and is always looking for more volunteers and are looking for donations from the community to be able to continue our rescue missions.
