Pelican Peak SXM

Before take-off our hillside tour tells the story of our island’s history and provides easy walking trails to multiple viewing decks for beautiful panoramic ocean and island views. Located just steps from the cruise ship terminal. After an initial safety orientation riders will hop into our open air troop carrier and cruise through the lush hillside towards the summit. The flightline is positioned over 500 feet above sea level and runs 1500 feet long. Riders will take in the natural beauty of St. Maarten at speeds of 50mph as they soar towards Philipsburg’s Great Bay.

Welcome to The Sint Maarten Yacht Club & Sailing School. We’re here to promote Sailing and Youth Sailing on the beautiful and sunny island of Sint Maarten! Here’s what we do:
– We organize races and regattas for our members & non-members
– We provide instruction and training for sailing and racing
– We offer both group and private Youth and Adult Sailing classes
– We have a lot of dinghy sailboat for rent
– We organize a monthly Trivia Night and more social activities.
One of our goals is to make sailing available for as many individuals as we can. In an effort to make sailing accessible to a broader audience, The Sint Maarten Yacht Club pursues this goal through two projects:
– The Sint Maarten Yacht Club sailing school provides free sailing classes for primary schools on Sint Maarten, during school hours. These classes are funded by private / business donations and the sport department of the Sint Maarten government. A part of this program is the SWIM 2 SAIL– program. This is a program especially for the students that are not able to swim yet or don’t feel comfortable being in/around the water.
– The Sint Maarten Yacht Club sailing school provides free sailing classes for students challenged with a mental or physical disability.

In addition to operating the club, SXM Padel Group offers custom design and construction services for padel clubs tailored to clients’ locations, budgets, and needs. Since its inception in 2021, SXM Padel Group has been dedicated to developing the sport of padel on the island and throughout the region. The club is also committed to fostering a strong kids’ program, ensuring young players can learn from an early age and securing the sport’s future on the island.
