In the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, SHTA, together with 360° of Innovation and Antonio Media, launches the St. Maarten Innovation, Initiatives & Industries Link-Up Event (SMILE).
SMILE was created to inspire the Northeastern Caribbean business community through innovation and sustainability, while providing a platform for businesses, entrepreneurs, NGOs and professionals to connect, exchange ideas and learn from innovative local and international best practices.
The first edition took place in 2018 and brought together more than 300 participants from 89 organizations representing nine countries.
