The SHTA Events Calendar introduces its first Cultural Icon, choreographer Clara Reyes.
The initiative uses the widely distributed calendar as a platform to celebrate St. Maarten’s cultural heritage and shine a light on local creative talent. Clara Reyes became the first in a tradition that has since included Isidore “Mighty Dow” York, Roland Richardson, King Beaubeau Brooks, Ruby Bute, Zillah Duzon-Hazel and the National Institute of Arts.
