Orco Bank, through its Orco Cares Program, is proud to continue its partnership with St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, encouraging women across Sint Maarten to prioritize their health and get screened.
As part of the initiative, Orco Bank is handing over 300 campaign T-shirts to SMMC to help bring greater visibility to the importance of breast cancer awareness and early detection throughout the community.
The message is simple but important: Early detection is the best protection.
To help turn awareness into action, SMMC will host a free breast screening on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at St. Maarten Medical Center. Orco Bank and SMMC are encouraging women in the community to take advantage of the opportunity and make their health a priority.
“Through Orco Cares, we are proud to continue standing alongside SMMC and supporting initiatives that encourage our community to take proactive steps toward their health,” said Judy King Richardson, Country Manager of Orco Bank Sint Maarten. “With these 300 T-shirts, we hope to help carry the message even further and encourage more women to get checked. Early
detection matters.”
The Breast Cancer Awareness initiative continues the partnership between Orco Bank and SMMC following September’s Prostate Cancer Awareness activities. Together, the organizations are working to increase awareness, support access to screening and encourage people across Sint Maarten to take an active role in their health.
