September 2004 The SHTA launched their SHTA Tourism Discount Card that offers all SHTA member employees discounts at a number of participating properties to demonstrate that tourism is important to the island and it also gives back to the local community. A total of 3500 cards were distributed to hospitality and hospitality-related employees.
