April of 2002 marks the beginning of SMART (The Sint Maarten / Saint Martin Annual Regional Tradeshow.
The first St. Maarten/St, Martin Annual Regional Tradeshow is held at the Maho Beach Resort from April 25-27. The tradeshow was a joint effort of the SHTA and AHSM (French Hotel Association) assisted logistically by the Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA). SMART offers a professional way to bring together the movers and shakers in the tourism industry for St. Maarten/St. Martin, and the surrounding islands of the North-Eastern Caribbean.
