In celebration of 55 years of Carnival on St. Maarten, II Brothers Entertainment has officially launched its Carnival 55 Anniversary Package, a commemorative collection designed to celebrate the island’s culture while supporting the next generation of carnival participants.
The Anniversary Package, priced at US $35.00, includes an official Carnival 55 T-shirt, rag, and reusable cup. The package is available in 10 vibrant colors, giving supporters multiple options to represent the milestone celebration in style.
More than just memorabilia, the initiative carries a deeper purpose. A portion of the proceeds will go toward assisting Queens and Troupes participating in the Junior Parade, helping to offset expenses and encourage youth involvement in Carnival traditions.
A representative of II Brothers Entertainment emphasized that the initiative is rooted in community support and cultural preservation. “We are encouraging patrons to purchase the Carnival 55 package not only as a keepsake, but as a way of contributing directly to our young participants. Carnival belongs to the people, and this is one way we can all play a part.”
The official opening of Carnival on April 10, 2026, will feature a special incentive for supporters. Patrons wearing the official Carnival 55 T-shirt on that day will enjoy a 2-for-1 drink special at Booth 160z, making the launch a celebratory “Happy Day” for those who come out in full support.
Businesses across the island are also being invited to participate. Companies are encouraged to purchase shirts for their staff to wear on Fridays leading up to and during the Carnival season as a show of corporate solidarity and cultural pride.
