Though measures to protect against the spread of COVID have been relaxed worldwide, COVID continues to be a public health concern and testing for COVID remains important, especially at the workplace. At Medwork we offer three COVID testing services.
1. Non-travel COVID testing
Medwork offers a rapid antigen test for non-travel purposes. You may require a certified COVID test for your job, to attend an event, because you have symptoms and want to know, etc. The cost is US$30 and results are ready within 15 minutes to 1 hour. To access our non-travel COVID testing service, simply walk in during our testing hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM and 12:30 PM-3:30 PM
Open Emancipation Day, Friday, 1 July 9:00 AM-12:00 PM (antigen testing)
If you are an existing Medwork client and would like to be billed monthly for COVID tests performed for your company, please email Girish at g.motwani@medwork.aw to note that you give your employees permission to use this service.
2. Travel COVID testing
Some countries still require travelers to do a COVID test. Medwork offers two types of tests for travel purposes:
Rapid antigen test: US$65; results emailed within 15 minutes to 1 hour
PCR test: US$125; results usually emailed the same evening of testing
To access our travel COVID testing services, simply walk in during our testing hours:

3. Employer-based COVID testing
Prevent an outbreak at work by bringing COVID testing to your workplace. Medwork designs a testing program suited for your company’s needs then trains a selection of your staff members on the correct use of tests, interpretation of results, and reporting procedures and obligations. Medwork manages logistics for sourcing and ordering testing supplies and remains available for all questions and concerns. The pricing of this service depends on the volume of tests you intend to perform monthly.
