Philipsburg – The St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association, the largest private sector representative of St. Maarten awarded 9 participants, their Certification for successfully completing the Business Correspondence training, on Friday June 10th. The intensive 3 day course is the first part of a series of training courses SHTA has planned for the 3rd and 4th quarter of this year. Mrs. Corinne Lejeuz, who holds a Master’s Degree in Educational leadership and Management, facilitated the training. Training course topics focused on improving day to day correspondence, communication etiquette for online/email correspondence, conflict management, customer service communication and meeting minutes.

SHTA congratulates Bernice Fleming, Marian Fleming, Josiane Arrindell, Gabrielle Martina, Bernadette Thomas of Oyster Bay Beach Resort, Wilma Aventurin of Magnis NV, Stephen Richardson of CTC – King Ocean, Vilma Rojas, Orsine Emid – SHTA for successfully completing their training. In addition the Association extends its congratulations towards the represented businesses for taking the initiative to encourage continued professional development among their staff.
