As “Sneak Preview”, the first edition of the 2026 SHTA Events Calendar was ceremonially handed over to Zoila Sanchez, Amstel Bright Brand Manager at Heineken/Divico Distributors. Though the official launch event will take place on an official 15th January ceremony, distribution has already started so calendars can reach their audiences timely before the new year.
The calendar with Amstel Bright by Divico as its main supporter marks the 10th edition of the well used poster, summarizing major annual events and holidays for both local use and as destination business card to visitors. The calendar is also in use by foreign tourism trade partners to highlight the diversity of the destination.
As was announced in summer, this year’s “cultural icon” of choice featured on the calendar was National Institute of Arts (NIA). A special batch has been printed for teachers and students of this long standing institute teaching many disciplines, a feature deliberately highlighted on the main calendar picture with a variety of artists highlighting their discipline on historical Fort Amsterdam. Artwork for the calendar has like previous editions been created by Loic Bryan of Artistic Drive, but this year’s main picture was created by NIA artists.
Zoila Sanchez of Amstel Bright by Divico Distributors: “We are delighted to once again partner with SHTA for this anniversary edition, celebrating the many activities and rich cultural heritage of our dual-nation destination. The Caribbean Amstel Bright beer is a great fit for this cultural calendar, perfectly complementing the island’s vibrant lifestyle and traditions. NIA continues to play a key role in supporting this energy, as reflected in the 2026 calendar. As one of the pick-up locations, NIA warmly invites you to visit Divico and collect your copy”.
Next to Amstel Bright by Divico Distributors, SHTA thanks Telem, Grant Thornton, AMA Jewelers, St. Rose Beach Bar, Trisport, Oyster Bay Beach Resort and the many organizations sending in events, showing St. Maarten / St. Martin is a lively destination. As always, islanders can reserve a copy via events@shta.com.
