As of this week, the Saint Martin / Sint Maarten Annual Regional Tradeshow (SMART) will end its Early Bird registration season. In its turn, appointment making will start, ending on May 7th. This will provide participants with a personal meeting’s agenda before arrival at SMART.

This was announced today by L’Association des Hoteliers de Saint Martin, Saint Martin Tourism Office, the Sint Maarten Tourist Bureau and St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association, the four organizers of SMART.

Early Bird registration season has crossed the mark of 70 companies and governmental organizations registering for SMART, coming from Anguilla, Antigua, Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Canada, China, Dominica, France, Germany, Guadeloupe, Italy, Saba, St. Eustatius, The Netherlands, St. Kitts, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

The organizing parties welcome the record international presence, welcoming many new nationalities interested in doing business with the island. The organizers are grateful for its cooperation with Air Antilles, Maduro Travel, ShowMeCaribbean and Winair, further stimulating the international presence.

The making of appointments allows foreign operators and local tourism companies to have business meetings in an organized manner.

SMART has traditionally been the largest tourism tradeshow in the Northeastern Caribbean and celebrates its 15th edition. In addition to its traditional business appointments, this time 30+ workshops are on offer on topics varying from social media to improved use of data.

Companies interested can obtain information as well as subscription documents at events@shta.com . Event information will be continuously updated at SHTA.com/SMART. For reservations or questions, please call +1-721-542-0108.
