For its 2023 edition this October 27th and 28th, the St. Maarten Innovations, Initiatives & Industries Link-Up Event (SMILE), will again host a “SXM Art Fair” amongst its tradeshow elements. This was announced today by organizer St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association (SHTA).
SMILE added the SXM Art Fair during its third edition in 2022. By means of the SXM Art Fair, SMILE offers a platform for local artists to connect to companies and NGOs present at SMILE, as well as to the individual tradeshow visitors interested in buying local art for private use.
The St. Maarten Innovations, Initiatives & Industries Link-Up Event (SMILE) was founded in 2018 to inspire the Northeastern Caribbean business community with best practices in innovation and sustainability, locally and international, and to establish a platform for networking in the process. As of its first edition, SMILE has proven a great opportunity for professionals to get (re)connected, obtain professional updates and ideas and enhance skills.
Organizers call on any artist or gallery, looking to display at the business and NGO event, to contact the SMILE project office at info@shta.com or call +1-721-542-0108. Interested consumers and art lovers are also welcome to take up contact to visit the SMILE SXM Art Fair.
The same accounts for participants from public and private sector wanting to be present with their organization. More information about the fourth, 2023 SMILE event can be found at www.smilesintmaarten.com. SMILE thanks its 2023 supporters Grant Thornton, Dynaf, the Department of Culture of MECYS, and the University of St. Martin for cooperating on SMILE’s fourth edition.
