That Yoda Guy Movie Museum Foundation is proud to announce the finalists of its national and international creative initiative inspired by the legendary Star Wars universe and Sint Maarten Carnival.
This global project invited students from Sint Maarten and campuses around the world to explore their imagination through art, storytelling and creativity, encouraging them to look beyond screens and bring their ideas to life.
We are excited to recognize the following finalists:

- Lise-Amyona Petion, St Dominic High School
- Lyla Petit, CIA Primary School
- Nirah Cooks, Sister Regina Primary school
- Yanick James, Hill Side Christian School
Each winner demonstrated exceptional creativity, originality, and dedication, capturing the spirit of imagination and storytelling in a truly inspiring way.
Globally the TYGMM Foundation also received entries from Puerto Rico,
Spain, Germany, the USA and Japan. To the best of our knowledge this is the first time a St Maarten based foundation has hosted an international creative competition.
“We are incredibly proud of all the students who participated,” said founder, “that Yoda Guy,” Nick Maley. “The level of creativity we’ve seen from St Maarten, and around the world has been outstanding.
This initiative highlights the power of creativity and celebrates the timeless impact of storytelling across cultures.
