The 8th Caribbean Multihull Challenge Race and Rally announces the second annual Great Bay Beach and Boardwalk Jamboree set for Saturday the 31st of January, 2026.
Originally designed to entertain Rally sailors with a day-long event in Great Bay complete with spectator-style sport boat racing off the beach with the Dutch Blonde Beach Bar as race headquarters, beach sports such as volleyball and tug’o war in the sports park, a welcome party and prize giving at St Rose Plaza, and a massive fireworks show to end the evening; this year will see some changes bringing in action at the Seaview Hotel Bar and Pool on the boardwalk. All reports from sailors participating in 2025 confirm the value of this event and for 2026, the CMC will move the date to Saturday, the 31st of January; a move that will insure maximum attendance from island residents and visitors. The organizers like the idea that the CMC is part of the spirit of revitalizing downtown with yet another popular event.

Mark your calendars for the 31st with the fun beginning at 12:00 in front of Dutch Blonde and ending with an evening party at Seaview. At this time, we are hopeful of repeating 2025’s great fireworks show sponsored by both Dock Maarten and
Bobby’s Marina’s. More info on the event and how your establishment can be involved is at www.CaribbeanMultihullChallenge.com/ or contact Natatia Gefferie – Jamboree Marketing Manager at dorot.etiquette@gmail.com
