St. Maarten, January 12, 2023 – The St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association (SHTA) is excited to announce the launch of Visit St. Maarten/St. Martin 2023, an upscale destination magazine distributed exclusively in each of the guest rooms of member hotels, as well as guest houses, Airbnb’s, yachts, and other locations throughout the island. The accompanying MAPS, Shopping and Dining Guides can also be found in high traffic areas around the island.
Published by North South Net (NSN), a boutique custom publishing company specializing in the Caribbean region, the publication continues to carry on the tradition of informing visitors about all the exciting things to see and do, while presenting a fresh take on the best experiences found throughout The Friendly Island. The richly illustrated book highlights local personalities and captures the essence of the island with captivating photography, engaging stories and valuable information about shopping, dining, watersports and land activities, activities and attractions, and much more.
“We are very excited with the launch of this latest edition of Visit St. Maarten/St. Martin, which serves as a fabulous guide for our overnights guests,” says Wyb Meijer, Executive Director of the SHTA. “For those planning to visit, we highly suggest checking out the publication’s sister website, www.visitstmaarten.com, where you will find all the information you need to plan the perfect getaway. With their vast knowledge of our cosmopolitan destination and the personal relationships they have built over the years, NSN has been a valued strategic partner, providing us with high-quality print and digital products.”
This year’s front cover image by local photographer Richard Hazel captures the cultural side of the island and features Rehanna Edwards at a Carnival celebration. “This is one of our best covers featuring a photo of a dedicated Carnival participant,” says Garry Duell, publisher of NSN. “We’re honored to partner with the stellar team at the SHTA to produce high-quality print and digital publications, the www.visitstmaarten.com website, a Visit St. Maarten app to download while on the go, and the MAPS, Shopping and Dining Guide supplements — all of which help visitors discover the best of the island.”
