OYSTER POND–Sean Russell, TripAdvisor’s Territory Manager for the Americas, is hosting workshops for the hotel and tourism sector called “Reviews, Reputation, and ROI: Getting the Most out of TripAdvisor and Your Online Presence” at the Oyster Bay Beach Resort.
Workshops so far have been well-attended by local business representatives,
especially those in the hotel sector. The workshops allow a maximum of 15 participants, to encourage more engaging dialogues. Russell, who has a background in acting as well as sales within the hospitality sector, is a good presenter, but feels that people are much more comfortable and willing to ask questions in smaller crowds. Participants
asked questions and addressed concerns that they had throughout the workshop.
