Simpson Bay, St. Maarten – December 27, 2024 – Winair is happy to announce that, following the successful reintroduction of our code-share agreement with KLM in November, we have now reintroduced the code-share agreement with Air France. This code share makes travel easier and more convenient for passengers traveling to St. Barth, Saba, St. Eustatius, Antigua, St. Kitts, Nevis and Tortola.
With this agreement, Air France adds their flight code to destinations operated by Winair. Passengers book flights to a destination served by both airlines using one single ticket. This means customers can check in at any Air France or Winair location, have their luggage sent straight to their final destination, and receive boarding passes for their entire journey—all in one go.
“This partnership with Air France enhances travel options for passengers, offering seamless connections between Europe and the Caribbean. Travelers can now enjoy convenient same-day journeys with increased flexibility and peace of mind, knowing that Winair provides reliable service and a strong safety record,” stated Hans van de Velde, CEO of Winair. “This collaboration underscores the confidence Air France places in Winair, solidifying our position as a vital link in regional travel.”
