SXM DOET, St. Maarten’s biggest volunteer event, is back and invites you to be part of an exciting community-driven weekend on May 16 and 17, 2025. Set right after Carnival, SXM DOET aims to channel the island’s vibrant spirit into impactful community projects. “Mark your calendars and join us in making a positive difference on the island,” said Project Coordinator Caroline Van Oost.

Whether you’re a local or visiting St. Maarten, why not add a day of giving back to your plans? With dozens of volunteer opportunities across the island, from beach clean-ups to beautifying schools and supporting local NGOs, SXM DOET has something for everyone. “We want people to experience the joy of giving back,” explained Project Coordinator Breanna Barrie. “SXM DOET is about leaving a positive mark on the island.”
Project Coordinator Shanica Romney added, “Volunteering with SXM DOET is a unique way to connect with our beautiful island, its people, and its needs. We’re thrilled to invite everyone to roll up their sleeves and be part of something truly memorable.”
