This event has been established by the St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association (SHTA) to recognize outstanding performance and those individuals, companies and organization which have made significant contributions to the tourism industry and the island as a whole.
The Crystal Pineapple Awards gives the private sector the opportunity to put forward the people that should really be recognized for their outstanding performance and/or contribution; may it be an excellent employee, exceptional manager or someone who has really contributed towards tourism, the environment and the economy.
The Crystal Pineapple Awards is held annually in the month of November. The gala event includes a night of a scrumptious buffet, award ceremonies, recognition of nominees and special persons in the industry, entertainment and much more.
